Mortgage Interest Rates May Go Lower

Posted by Hamid Grinage on Wednesday, September 26th, 2012 at 2:43pm.

We have had historically low interest rates for quite some time, it's amazing to think that there was a time in the 70's and 80's when interest rates were as high as 18%! Amazingly, when the FED met last week they announced that a new infusion of cash into the economy could lead to even lower mortgage interest rates. Of course nothing is for sure, but that would be an extra boost to the housing recovery..assuming buyers took advantage of it. I guess only time will tell.
