Joaquin Miller Homes

This District includes the area east of Highway 13 between Joaquin Miller road and Redwood road. Named after the great poet Joaquin Miller, this area was replenished with 70,000 trees that he planted to revitalize the landscape which had been decimated by the logging that built San Francisco during the Gold Rush. The Woodminster Amphitheater and Holy Names University are the two dominant landmarks of this area.
