Purchasing real estate is a complex transaction which involves many parties and factors, and therefore is done in a step by step fashion. The very first step in the buying process is to get pre-approved for financing (unless you are paying cash). I speak with a lot of people who are interested in viewing property before they have been through the pre-approval process, and it's important to for perspective buyers to know that it is critical that you sit down with a mortgage professional and have them run your numbers.
